The first webinar focuses on alternative strategies to provide mental health services in schools that are sustainable through various funding streams such as the Medicaid Administrative Claiming, private and public mental health partners, third-party payers, student internships and professional development.   • Discuss current challenges and potential options to obtain counseling resources from your community to support and sustain school mental health programs
  • Discuss strategies and lessons learned in the provision of funding to sustain school mental health programs through public and private mental health providers
  • Learn strategies to incorporate effective professional development for school staff and realignment of school staff as counselors vs. guidance
  • Learn about partnerships with colleges and universities as a resource to provide student internships and counseling services in schools
