Connie Constantine
While at EDC, Ms. Constantine has been responsible for the oversight and management of a number of federal and international projects. She served as the Project Director for a Fetal Alcohol Awareness and Education project funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She was also the Director of Continuing Education for the National Training Center for School Drug Prevention and School Safety Coordinator’s which was funded by the United States Department of Education. This Center was responsible for training 900 coordinators and provided them with online continuing education and technical assistance in the area of evidence-based substance abuse and violence prevention intervention and leadership skills. In addition, Ms. Constantine was the Training and Technical Assistance Specialist on the National Training Partnership, a project funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Before coming to EDC, Ms. Constantine taught K-12 health education and spent three years as a district health coordinator. She was also the Associate Director for the Center for Health Promotion at Bridgewater State College in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. In addition, she was a member of the graduate faculty at Bridgewater State College for five years in the Movement Arts, Health Promotion and Leisure Studies Department.
